The Technical Identification and Application Feasibility Study Report on Beijing-Shanghai Quantum-Communication Link Project carried out by CEEDI won the 2014 National Excellent Engineering Consulting Achievements Awards.
The Beijing-Shanghai quantum-communications network is the longest trunk with maximum range and also the first demonstration network in the field of quantum-communication in the world. This project includes a 2,000-kilometre trunk connecting Beijing and Shanghai throughout Jinan and Hefei. The quantum-communication network is a cutting-edge technology in the world. The Beijing-Shanghai network provides not only the highest level of protection for Chinese government, military, national security and financial data, but also a test bed for quantum theories and new technologies.
CEEDI also won the first prize for the application report of Samsung 12’’ 3D V-NAND Project and Xuzhou City Jiawang District Economic Transition Plan; the second prize for the application report of Hefei Xinsheng Optoelectronics Technology Company 8.5G TFT-LCD Project, the feasibility study report of Yunnan Province Dali City Binzhou Town Yanpeng Grid-connected Solar PV Power Station Project (Phase One), and the feasibility study of Daye Nonferrous Boyuan Waste Mechanical and Electronic Equipment Treatment Project.
