The launching ceremony for the first TFT-LCD production line of the 6^th generation of China Mainland, in which S.Y. Technology, Engineering & Construction CO., Ltd. was in charge of engineering design and management, was officially held by Hefei BOE Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., which marks the six-generation production line made by Hefei BOE was officially put into commissioning.

The six-generation production line made by Hefei BOE is the first higher generation line independently constructed by China Mainland, with total investment of RMB 17.5 billion. It is mainly used to produce LCD used for TV and computer screen of less than 37’, representing the project with the largest investment, biggest area of clean room and most complex power system that has been put into operation in the field of electronics of China. This project started in April 2009; the first products were produced by the production line and mass production was started in the middle of October 2010. S.Y. Technology Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. started to contract the engineering design of the project in November 2008 and the project management in February 2009. Hundreds of engineers participated in the project and made research and discussion on many complicated and professional technical issues. There were more than 80 engineers residing on the site at the peak of the project, who provided solid guarantee for the completion of the project in a planned manner and with high quality, and the project team was well reviewed by the Owner.

Currently, the projects being built by Beijing Century Yuanbo R&D Co., Ltd. also include BOE (Beijing) 8.5-generation production line, Kunshan Longfei optoelectronics 8.5-generation production line, Shenzhen Huaxing 8.5-generation optoelectronics and other production lines of higher generation in China. Looking into the future, S.Y. Technology, Engineering & Construction CO., Ltd. will further improves its capability of independent innovation and build up core competitiveness, aiming to provide the Owner with high-quality and full-orientation services and enhance its leading position in the field.
